JEFFREY C. YUEN

THE LUO VESSELS & SHEN DISTURBANCES (Saturday)

LOU VESSELS PULSE AND TREATMENT PRACTICUM
(Sunday and/or Monday)

August 25 - 27, 2007
From a meridian energetics perspective, working knowledge of the Luo vessels is essential for every acupuncturist wanting to help patients with shen disturbances. The Luo vessels reflect the body-mind’s conscious or subconscious attempts to hold or suppress physiological/ environmental toxins and/or psychological stress. The Luo vessels are often the best meridian system to use to treat patients suffering from depression, sadness, anger. rage, anxiety, problematic love, obsessions, worry, fears, and fright, especially when suppressed emotions are involved.

On Saturday, Mr. Yuen will discuss the energetics and uses of each of the 15 or 16 Luo-Connecting channels in treating Shen disturbances, and other issues involving psychosocial development.

On Sunday and Monday, Mr. Yuen will help participants learn how to take, read, & interpret Luo Vessel pulses, and then use that pulse information to perform supervised Luo Vessel treatments primarily with seven-star needles, and filiform needles, when harmonization is needed after bleeding. Participants may attend the Pulse and Treatment Practicum Sunday or Monday or both days. However, each day will be limited to 30 participants.

Saturday, Sunday, & Monday
August 25 -27, 2007
9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Each Day
