The highly respected 88th generation Taoist Priest, Jeffrey C. Yuen, returns to AUCM with another 4-day weekend filled with profound insights into the practical use of the classics to restore health.
November 11-13, 2006, Saturday,Sunday and Monday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., at the "Pulse-Taking with Jeffrey Yuen: A Meridian Approach" Pulse Taking -- as it is taught in acupuncture schools today -- is primarily based upon the diagnostic systems emanating from Chinese herbal traditions. But acupuncturist in ancient times also developed energetic approaches to pulse diagnosis in which they ascertained the status of Wei Qi, Ying Qi, and Yuan Qi, and assessed which meridian system (s) -- the Sinew, Luo, Primary, Divergent, or Eight Extra channels -- needed to be treated.

In this highly anticipated Pulse Diagnosis seminar, Daoist priest Jeffrey C. Yuen will lecture on classical Chinese medical pulse-taking from an acupuncturist's perspective on Saturday, and lead participants in pulse-taking practice and cultivation in a pulse-taking lab on Sunday and Monday.
