American University of Complementary Medicine

Autoimmune conditions and digestive disorders including food allergies, sensitivities and intolerance.

February 16-17, 2013
Marina del Rey, CA

This course is approved by the California Acupuncture Board for 15 Hours of Continuing Education in Category I.

Kiiko will explore autoimmune conditions and the role digestive disorders play in autoimmunity. She has a particular emphasis on the small intestine and the autonomic nervous system in addressing the growing number of autoimmune and food related complaints (such as gluten intolerance, candida overgrowth, etc.). As always, she will focus her treatment and diagnostic strategies on the Classics.

Day 1:
In Day 1, Kiiko Matsumoto will focus on digestive related pathologies and the pivotal role of the small intestine in treating these issues. Some of the digestive disorders to be addressed include candida overgrowth, gluten intolerance, leaky gut syndrome, small intestine bacterial overgrowth and others. Kiiko will also discuss the strong role the autonomic nervous system plays in many GI pathologies.

Day 2:
In Day 2, Kiiko Matsumoto will focus on how digestive pathologies lead to autoimmune conditions and will further her discussion and demonstration of her impressive treatment of a wide range of autoimmune conditions. As always, Ms. Matsumoto will give both her theory and point protocols for treating autoimmune and digestive disorders and will teach both through lecture and hands on demonstration.
