KIIKO MATSUMOTO

August 11-12, 2012
West Los Angeles, CA

Day 1:
In Day 1, Kiiko Matsumoto will discuss the pivotal role the spleen plays in the treatment of a wide variety of conditions, not only as the governor of transportation and transformation, but also in its role as a lymphatic organ and its importance in treating immunological conditions. Ms. Matsumoto will discuss her cultivation of how powerful the Spleen is in treating a variety of disorders including GYN problems, bleeding disorders, lymphedema, immunological issues affecting the lymphatics such as Epstein Barr Virus and shen disturbances that she finds respond very well to treating the Yi (e.g., anxiety and depression). As always, Ms. Matsumoto will give both her theory and point protocols for treating spleen disorders and will teach both through lecture and hands on demonstration.

Day 2:
In the Ling Shu and Su Wen, there are numerous passages dedicated to the concept of Jue in the feet. In this class, Ms. Matsumoto will discuss the concept of Jue and demonstrate the importance of the feet in the dissemination of Zong Qi and in systemic illness. She will also demonstrate the vast array of clinical presentations that respond positively to Jue treatments and how you can incorporate it immediately into your patients treatments to strengthen patients' constitutions and resolve a wide range of findings.
